Police were called to a Darien home on Red Mill Lane earlier this month after a thief broke into a garage. The man wore black pants and a grey hoodie as he skulked.
But it was slim pickings for our dastardly ne'er do well because all he only walked away with was a box of trash bags, Darien Police said.
The thief rifled through the car parked inside the garage but came up empty-handed.
Police said residents should be on the lookout for anyone with a suspiciously large amount of trash bags at their disposal.
